@marley: Yes! The months go by super slow. I wanted my kids close in age and the more months that go by with a bfn, the more worried I get. I'll try temp again tomorrow morning and see if temps are still up.
That's great that your cycle is regular! Good luck this month and hopefully you'll have a thanksgiving BFP!!

@tiramisu: thank you! I hope you get good news soon too! I have the same worry. My DD is 3 and also, I'm no spring chicken.

@ourwiredlives: welcome!
@kitkat: @tiramisu: @aprilfool: @nutella: Thanks lovelies. Now hopefully the line will get progressively darker. *fx*
@marley: I also have a DD who is 3 and I am no spring chicken either. I wish we had tried when she turned 2, but I just wasn't ready.

@pwnstar: I thought I was one-and-done until a few months ago. Now I feel like I wasted all this time.

@marley: crossing fingers for you this cycle.
@tiramisu: hear you on the months going slooow. But feel like time is flying too. AF arrived and I'm feeling blah! Good luck tomorrow!

Well, I think I'm out this month. Just got back from the doctor and she's confident I'm not ovulating based on my temps. She gave me rx's for Clomid and Provera, so have to discuss next steps with my husband tonight.
Good luck everyone!

@Kitkat: hugs lady. So glad you followed your gut and got some answers from the doc. At least you've got a path forward!

@marley: thanks lovely. I'm just glad I didn't have to wait forever, I don't love the longer and more random LP behaviour that's happening with my cycle this time but I feel it's all part of body re-settling or something.

@Kitkat: I'm so sorry! I'm glad you were able to find some answers though. Did she offer any ideas on why you aren't ovulating?

@Kitkat: I'm sorry, lady. It's good that you are ahead of the game with the charts and she was able to start you on the good stuff right away. I hope you get more answers soon.

@mrschickpea: thanks dear. I'm going to bake brownies today - feeling very average, as I had a stomach virus yesterday too! So a bit more fragile
I am thinking it might take a bit of time for my next bfp...don't know why, just a feeling. I guess that's ok, but a bit sad about it obvs.

@marley: @Nutella: @mrschickpea: @LCTBQE: Thanks ladies Silly me didn't think to ask why I might not be ovulating. I was never regular before I went on BC 10+ years ago, and for a majority of that time I was on Seasonique (4 periods a year), so maybe it has something to do with being on a pill that caused long cycles for so long? When I saw her in August she said it would take awhile to regulate after stopping the pill, but I guess now it's been long enough that she doesn't think it's my body adjusting to being off BC anymore.
On a side note, is anyone else terrible at asking questions at the doctor? I even went in with notes written down today and after I left I thought of tons more questions I should've asked...grr!

@Nutella: my worst-case scenario: number went from 69 to 187 in 4 days, which is a 66-hr doubling rate, which is not good enough to be viable, but since it's still rising, it'll take a while to resolve itself. I had more betas drawn today to confirm, but I can tell it's not getting better because my FRERs look the same this morning as they did last week, plus I still have zero symptoms (which my OB says is "neither here nor there" but I don't believe). I'll get the new results tomorrow afternoon and they'll tell me if they recommend the pills or passing naturally or another D&C. So now I sit and wait to miscarry. I cried silently at my desk all afternoon and the entire ride home on the MTA. This sounds incredibly bitter and ugly, but I knew this was a trash pregnancy from the start and I just wish it was fucking over with already.

Sorry guys, that sounded insane and I really think the POAS board should be a positive place where everyone feels encouraged. I'm going to move this mess into the loss support boards when I find out what's going to happen to me. Still here to listen and cheer for you

@Kitkat: good for you for going in--I think many people wait longer than you did, which is a shame. don't feel like you have to wait for your next appointment if you have questions, just give her a call. xx

@LCTBQE: hugs lady. We're all here to support each other, and that means good and bad news. You have every right to be upset. I'm so sorry this is happening.

@Kitkat: I'm bad at asking questions too. I have a doctors appointment on the 20th, I'm afraid of bad news. I'm going to have to write everything down before I go in too. I'm worried that I am not ovulating, but hoping we've just had bad timing so far.

@LCTBQE: I'm so sorry. I hate that you're going through this. Please don't worry about being *shiny and happy*. We do that so much in other aspects of our lives that you don't need to do it here too.

@mrschickpea: thank you!
@Kitkat: I am terrible at questions. I almost always write them on an index card, and even then I don't ask all of the questions on the card. I'm glad you've got a plan going forward!

@LCTBQE: I'm so sorry sweet. I don't even know what to say, it's so so shitty for sure. And I am sorry if you felt that way from the start - I truly believed you were out of the woods
I also agree with others that you shouldn't feel bad about sharing here - Lord knows we all put on brave faces in real life, so feel free to share here.
I'm sending heaps of hugs your way. Thinking of you xx

@Kitkat: yep I sometimes feel silly asking all the questions I write down so I don't...but the last time I did this, the doctor leaned over & read my list! That was strange! But one way to fix the problem!

@LCTBQW: Big big sigh. So sorry to hear. Sending hugs through the interwebs. And I agree, don't feel like you need to edit your emotions.

@LCTBQE: I'm so sorry for the stress of being in "limbo land." Maybe its just me, but your numbers don't sound too bad...hoping you get more answers from your next beta.

@PWNSTAR: Congrats! When did you start suspecting or did you ever? Were you shocked? I could never not tell my husband in a million years. I feel like it's a special time to share with him. You could always still give the onesie on your anniversary.
My date is quickly approaching and the only symptoms I really have are the sensitive boobs and the cramps at night...probably not my month since none are really new. Had a headache today but I think I may be getting sick.
I started a new job today so I'm telling myself it's better that I'm not preg!
GL to everyone! Anyone feeling any early symptoms?

I'm out. AF showed today. I just weaned my daughter, so I suspect the last two cycles have been anovulatory. DH took DD out for dinner and I'm on the couch watching sad movies eating ice cream. I call the derisory specialist in the morning. A plan of action, and ice cream, help.
Best of luck to the rest of you!

@OldpuebloJenn: Sorry about AF!
@Nutella: Sorry you're out this month but brownies sound delicious!!

I'm definitely out, three days of medium flow is definitely not IB, and must be an early cycle. Not surprising considering how recently I finished my last pill pack.
The first two days I was hopeful, but now I'm in the early hours of day 4 of a new cycle. Next test: Dec. 2nd if my cycles are 25 days. I'll reconsider my testing date once I ovulate.

@Kitkat: that's crappy that she doesn't think you're ovulating, but.. it's really good that you had charts to show her. At least this way you could go in, show her what was happening and have her write the Rx right there. It would have been such a headache to chart for another 55 day cycle and then go back to her after. I hope the medications help you, good luck next cycle!
@LCTBQE: I'm so sorry to hear this Like everyone else has said, we all know TTC isn't all rainbows and butterflies and no one expects to only hear the good. It's a journey we're all apart of and you don't need to keep your honest feelings to yourself.
@OldpuebloJenn: sorry about AF. It took me a couple cycles to regulate after I weaned down my BFing sessions. I still BF 3x a day, but it sure can make cycles wonky. Hopefully now that you're weaned you have better luck next month.
@Mrs. D: good luck next cycle.

@flowergarden: New jobs are exciting! Congrats!
I was hopeful this cycle would be successful because the timing worked out surprisingly well. And until the day I got a peak fertility indicator on the CBEFM, I didn't think it would be a successful cycle because I hadn't seen any high fertility indicators leading up to a peak fertility indicator, and DH was leaving for a week-long business trip (I was pretty sure I would O while he was gone. Which is what happened last cycle). The day he was scheduled to fly out, the monitor jumped from low fertility the day before to peak fertility, so I put the moves on my exhausted SO at 0-dark-thirty and hoped for the best. (There are other good timing indicators too, but that's one of the big ones.)
I think I have been symptom spotting from about, oh, 3 dpo?! *blush* I have been gassy, bloated, and crampy, and this weekend, my low back started aching and I just generally felt like crap. I am not as much shocked as I am . . . relieved? Maybe that's not quite the right word, but as an older mama, I know time isn't on my side. Frankly, I was worried that if I didn't get knocked up my first cycle off BC, the withdrawal from which can trigger O, that it wouldn't happen at all, or certainly not before my self-imposed time cut-off. Now, of course, I am only slightly consumed with the line getting darker and making sure everything is okay.
