@LCTBQE: I will. Fingers crossed this is just implantation bleeding which is longer than expected. I've read too many times of women who mistook it for their period. I'll be testing regardless early in the new week.

@LCTBQE: oh man, I bet you want answers like nothing else right now!! I'm so torn as to whether to temp next cycle actually, I feel like it's something to do towards it, but I will be giving the OPKs a miss. The digital clear blue advanced ones cost an arm and a leg here, I'd rather save that $$$ and put it towards anything! Say, chocolate? Haha. Kidding. But yeah I'm on cd28 and pretty sure AF arrives flag waving tomorrow. No biggie. The early test made me lose my sh!t a few days earlier this time. Feeling ok now though. In the grand scheme of life, another month is OK to wait. Plus some days I look around & im like, how exactly do you plan to survive all this AND be pregnant? And those moments make me feel ok with this taking as long as it needs to take. Just trying a different perspective on things but I will be checking to see what news comes to you tomorrow! Hope the waiting goes as well as it can

@AprilFool: thanks! I had a crazy stomach bug last night, had to throw up a few times and was nauseous all night. Still no AF, but also just tested now at 5.30pm and it was a stark white so I think it'll arrive tomorrow?! Longest LP in ages, but I figured that's TTC for you!
How's everyone else going?

It's a total squinter, but the second super faint pink line is there. I (of course) ordered a few more tests yesterday that will arrive today, but I might pop out this afternoon for lunch and grab a digital. I have been feeling tired, crampy, and my low back has been keeeeling me, but that's about it. *fx*

@Nutella: Thanks I am feeling cautiously optimistic. And when that wears off, also kinda freaking out! As soon as I can get a decent picture, I will post it.

Well FF gave me cross hairs and lo and behold they are last weds, while dh was out of town.. big boo there BUT to be positive we dtd on Monday so o-2 and Friday which was 0+2... sucks he was gone all week but it is what it is. I can only hope that one of his swimmers was still alive and waiting when I o'd OR that my egg made it until Friday when we BD'd again.... fingers crossed
Let the symptom spotting begin!!!!

@pwnstar: CONGRATS!!!!!!!
I know I'm up next but not feeling optimistic at all I'm actually only 7dpo today because I O'd later than I thought, so will be a few more days before I test.

@JoJoGirl: Thanks The wait is brutal! And but for the cramps and the back ache, I had all but decided I was out too. But it is possible I O'd a little later than I thought, and I had to keep reminding myself that anything before a missed period is an early BFP.

@pwnstar: yay! Good luck, can't wait to see a pic! I think you should post the one you've taken, I can't spot a squinter a mile away haha
fF moved my crosshairs up 2 days which is annoying to go back. Plus we had slightl better timing with the first crosshairs. I think its because I had 2 days of + opk's. I'll add a pic, think it's more likely cd 20 or 22?

@pwnstar: I see it too and I never see squinters!!! how many dpo are you?
nectarine / 2466 posts
@pwnstar: that's not a squinter! I can see that clear as day! Congrats momma!!

@MrsB2012: It looks more like CD20 to me. What about your CM?
@pwnstar: I see it too! congrats again.
nectarine / 2466 posts
@marley: I only have cm marked down for cd20. So I try to only mark down really obvious cm as I find it can make my chart quite wonky. So it was either just not there after cd20 or was just a tiny bit so I didn't want to confuse anything.

@pwnstar: I can see it!! Congratulations!
I O'd later than I thought I would this month. I was expecting a postive OPK at CD17 - I was out all day and didn't get home until really late so I couldn't test or DTD with DH. I had hope that maybe it hadn't happened yet because I can usually tell by my CM. Well, today at CD19 the CM was very telltale so I took a test and it was positive (I don't think I even need the tests anymore, I can tell just by CM!). So my POAS may be a little later. I don't think there's a chance of a BFP by our anniversary, but I can give him a belated gift if it does happen later!

@marley: @Shizaz: Thanks It's really going to take a while to sink in. I can't wait to tell DH. Hopefully I can hold out until our anniversary this week! I'll probably cave . . . I just want more pink (or a digital *pregnant*) to show him!

@pwnstar: Happy Anniversary! How long have you been married? Definitely hold out if you can! What a great gift!

@MrsB2012: I think the ewcm disappears after you ovulate so that's another clue that you o'd on CD20? FX!!
@pwnstar: I wouldn't be able to hold out!!

@pwnstar: congratulations!!! So exciting!
So I had a bit of a breakdown over the weekend. I know we haven't been trying very long, but I've had really long (45-55 days) cycles since going off the pill in May and I'm not convinced I'm even ovulating and just have a feeling something's wrong. I have an appointment with my doctor this afternoon; any suggestions of good questions to ask? Are there tests that can be done to see if your ovulating? Ways to shorten cycles? I know there's drugs to trigger ovulation; does that shorten your cycles as well? I'm clueless!

@pwnstar: congrats!
@MrsB2012: I think CD 20 too. Good luck!
@Kitkat: Hugs. I hear you, TTC is frustrating especially with wonky cycles. We havent been trying that long either but I feel like its been FOREVER. Has charting showed you ovulated the other months?
Sorry I'm not sure what to ask your doctor... maybe be really vocal about long irregular cycles and if you do want testing done sooner. Alot of OBs don't do it unless it's been 1 yr of ttc and you're under 35.
As for me I'm on my 9th High day on the cbefm. I can't even hazard a guess as to what's going on. In the past I've had 4 High then peak, a Low straight to Peak cycle, and 2 High days then Peak.
kiwi / 706 posts
@tiramisu: that's frustrating. Have you tried OPKs in addition to the monitor?
apricot / 409 posts
@marley: yep, Ive been using the wondfo opks too. They were getting darker, but not dark enough to be positive at the end of last week. Then yesterday they were super light?? I tried temping on Fri, Sat. and today. Fri and Sat was about the same temp, but today's one was 0.5 higher. But I know 3 temps aren't enough to be a chart. Anyway, how are things going with you? Are you still temping?
kiwi / 706 posts
@tiramisu: .5 spike is significant, no? I'm still temping. I'm on CD9 so temps have been consistently low. I'm supposed to O on CD16 (pretty regular the past 2 months after getting off the pill). The months go VERY slowly when you're TTC, don't they? we are literally counting the days.
apricot / 325 posts
@tiramisu: it showed I did last month, but I'm not sure if I actually did...my temps didn't seem much higher after it said I ovulated and they were very erratic...this cycle I'm on day 40 with no crosshairs yet
