If we have another girl, my DH wants us to leave the nursery as is for Baby #2. Um...I would want her to have a room planned especially for her!
Would you/have you continued your nursery theme for your second child?

We never set up a nursery for LO. She has a bed and dresser in her room. Not sure what we're going to do for #2.. :T Trying not to think about it right now cause it stresses me out!

LO's room/nursery contains her crib, a rocking chair, and dresser/changing pad. Since #2 will be sharing with #1 probably won't be doing much additional except adding a big girl bed for #1. We may paint though because the kids room will be swapped with our office due to space issues.

Depends how we're doing house-wise (if we have the room) and budget-wise. I think it'd be fun to plan separate rooms for each LO if at all possible.

I would change it even if the next was same sex. I actually know what I would want to do already! :O!

Well I haven't done nursery #1 yet, But what I'm thinking is I'll transfer the crib/chair/dresser aka changing table to nursery #2 and then do different blanket, wall art, decorations....I plan to move that stuff to baby #1's room, so I won't pick anything to baby-ish.

We made a "big girl" room for DD and just moved DS into the nursery. Since we were Team Green both pregnancies, the nursery is gender neutral, and it was a lot of fun to plan DD's toddler room.

If I had a boy again, I would of left the nursery as is.
I know my sister is keeping the nursery as is for her second.

I would love to leave our nursery if we knew we were having a girl. I love it! But we're going team green next so that won't happen.

@artbee: I want to be team green too! if we have another girl, I want a punchy color theme-corals, pinks, oranges,

@autumnlove: Then are you going to wait until after your LO is here to do the nursery? We're going to just do a gender neutral nursery next time.

If we have another baby, the nursery will remain as is even though the wall decals are bit girly (we have a daughter now). If anything, I would just take down the decals.

@artbee: yes, I figure the baby will be in our room for the first few months anyways!

I think we'd plan a new one for the new baby - only because I wouldn't want to take my daughter's room away from her to give to the new baby. If I were in her shoes, not only is a new person coming to steal attention from me but now that person is taking my room too? Also, the daughter's room (nursery) was planned specifically for her and we specifically didn't make it so "newborn" that it would have to be redecorated once she got older. I think we'll probably leave it as-is until she asks for something new.
So yes, a new baby would get a new room.

Right now we have a temporary nursery set up in our room for the baby whenever she comes, and Wagon Jr. will still be in his room. At some point we'll move Wagon Jr. into his toddler room, which we will decorate with a baseball theme, and we'll move the baby into the nursery, which we'll tweak just a bit (we were team green so everything is gender neutral) but nothing major. Since we may move in the next year or two I don't want to make any major changes!
