If you have hardwood floors (ours our Cherry), what color would you choose for nursery furniture. (I'm leaning towards white).

I would probably go with white or maybe black depending on the color of the walls and other decor.

I would go with white for sure! But, I just think it's a nice contrast

I think it depends on lots of things, i.e., area rugs, room color(s), overall feel, etc. I didn't really think of the floor color when choosing nursery furniture. But white/cream would be lovely.

I voted for white because white just complements so many things and looks good with so many color combs. White all the way!

I love white nursery furniture regardless of the color of the floors. I think that's what we'll end up doing when the time comes.

I like white furniture. I don't know how I feel about white for a boy though.

I honestly love white baby furniture. Regardless of floor color, I would totally go with white!! i think it would be such a pretty contrast to your floor color.

I'm with @Mrsdaredevil, I'm just a fan of white nursery furniture in general. I went with white on our beige carpet.

I did white, but I don't love it. In general, I prefer darker colored wood pieces.

I"m pretty sure we're doing white...I generally like darker furniture, but I didn't want LO's room to look too imposing or serious.

I prefer dark furniture, but if your floors are already dark, I think white would be a good contrast.

Thanks for all of your feedback!
DH and I usually LOVE dark wood furniture, but feel that it might be too much with our floors esp since the built-in closet storage is also cherry wood as well. . I think the white furniture would be a good contrast.
The closet is grayish blue that we're not likely to change so hopefully that will be boy-ish enough if we a have a boy!
We figured we will paint the room a color depending on the gender to add to overall feel of boy/girl nursery as necessary
