I'm sure this has been done before but I haven't seen it in a while. Post a picture (or sample) of the letters you have for your LO's name in the nursery?
Also how did you attach it to the wall? In our condo I had my toddler's letters on a shelf. Thinking I want to attach them to the wall here, and want inspiration for baby sister's letters.

These are from the nurseries for dd1 and DD2. Both are hung with the 3M Velcro strips and are pretty light wood. The individual letters are hung with 2 small strips per letter

I just ordered her name for over the crib, Etsy, so depends on if it has hooks to hang it. If not we will just use command hooks. We did those with nails for pictures over LOs crib. And now we have DREAM over her bed with command hooks(all have been Velcro kind) and they work great.

@MrsRoo: Oh velcro- I didn't think of that. And yeah I like the one piece, and $25 seems like a good price-- except it's also $25 to ship.

@Foodnerd81: this is the one I just ordered. Some on etsy are so expensive! I just couldn't spend $100 on her name over the crib. The rest of the nursery is pretty much all Pillowfort from Target, aka cheap but cute.

@Smurfette: Every single thing in the baby's nursery was from her sister's nursery, aside from new paint for the walls. SO I suppose I can spend a little on her too.

The one thing I wonder about script names (and why I haven't let myself purchase one yet), is - does it matter that they are probably trickier for a child in terms of letter recognition? I'm
Not sure even my four year old could identify her name in more of a cursive font, beyond the first letter. I also don't know how important that is, since she doesn't seem particularly aware of the decor in her room, anyway (so I know a baby isn't!!)

@PinkElephant: I had the same exact concern. My 3 year old recognizes her name and that her letters spell it. Would she in cursive like that? I guess with G's name most of the letters aren't that different in print or cursive though?

I used ALittleMiscellany on Etsy and was extremely happy with our name signs!
