I have the most aggravating dry cough, leftover from a cold I had a couple of weeks ago.
Anybody have any favorite cough remedies that are safe while breastfeeding? Hot showers and a humidifier aren't cutting it anymore.

Well, my favorite tea recipe?
Sliced, peeled ginger, a few wedges of squeezed lemon, LOTS of honey, and hot water.

@blackbird: Ooh, that sounds good. I think I'll hang my face over it and breathe it in for a few minutes before I drink it. I feel SO yuck.

I drank a lot of hot tea with lemon and honey. My MIL suggested a mixture of panela (cane sugar - you can find it in the hispanic food section of the grocery store), lime and hot water.
