Whoa, that's awesome!! I haven't been to Cincy in a decade, but props to the owner for being very proactive.

Nice! Now they just need like...6 of them so you don't have to cross a busy ballpark to get to the room, with a screaming infant in tow

I read about that a few days ago and while I'm glad to see it, I agree with @blackbird: in that they will need more. But props to them for starting the trend!

Woohoo! I have been seeing this as I live in Ohio and SO excited to see in person.
It was sponsored by Huggies- which is a Proctor and Gamble product that is based in Cincy. That may be the reason the Reds got it first! All this attention is sure to grab other ballparks though!

@blackbird: @avivoca: agreed! but the first one is the hardest to get, right? if it's a huge success, i'm sure they'll put another one (or a few) in.

I do really like nursing rooms and have on occasion used them because they're more comfortable. But I worry that if I am somewhere that has a nursing room people will expect me to breastfeed there. When it doesn't always make the most sense to go to the room. So oddly it makes me feel uncomfortable nursing in public places that have nursing rooms when I'm normally pretty confident.

@Peasinapod: I can see your point, but to me it's more about providing a convenience for those who are not comfortable nursing in public, or who literally can't find a comfortable place to nurse (I mean, seats at a ballpark are not exactly comfortable!) Just because the nursing room exists, doesn't mean you have to use it. but if it doesn't exist you have no choice. and it also gives you a nice calm place for things like diaper changes or even non-nursing feeding a distracted toddler.

This is great! Though, I think by the time I'm comfortable taking my baby to a baseball game (loud, cold or hot temps, and looooong time to be away from home/crib) we won't be nursing, at least in public, anymore

I am so excited for my home ball park! I love that there is a space now!
