I need to choose a paediatrician shortly, and I'm pretty stumped on where to begin. I need someone with Mt Sinai privileges. I am asking my doc for recommendations at our next appointment on April 13th, but I was just wondering if anyone on here had any in the interim.

Wish I could help. Ours is affiliated with Weill Cornell Medical College/New-York Presbyterian.
Maybe you could call Mount Sinai and ask for a list of pediatricians who are affiliated with them? Or check out their website? A lot of hospital websites have a "find a doctor" and you can search by specialty. Another thing to do might be to find out if there's a parenting/neighborhood yahoo group or message board and ask there, too
