My husband and I have been TTC for 6 months and I have had kind of irregular periods, anywhere from 24-32 days, but nothing too crazy! Anyways, at about 5 months, I had a Dr's apt and when I asked about she said that as long as I was starting my period 14 days after I ovulate then it wasn't a problem. Well, on cycle 6 I used OPK's for the first time, and it looks like I started my period 10-11 days after I ovulated. I called in today and they want me to come in and get a blood draw 8 days after I ovulate. I didn't ask very many questions, and was hoping that you ladies could tell me a little about what they are looking for. Also, I am double covered with insurance, but neither of our plans have any fertility coverage, anyone have an idea how much these tests normally run?
