My original OB was MEH throughout my entire pregnancy. But I was too lazy and didn't really care about switching since I just don't have any preference or attachments to docs in general.

He totally overwhelmed me during labor when he came in for the first check in (I was at 9cm) and told me that he was going to csection if I didn't progress in an hour to ten. Thankfully, his partner delivered DS because he was caught in a scheduled csection (GO FIGURE) and I've seen his partner every since.

I really like my new ob and just had my one year check with him and am starting to plan for the journey to TTC #2. My fear is that if my OB is caught up, then my old OB would have to part of my delivery!

Should I research OBs outside of the practice, or just hope that I won't get stuck with csection man?
