@LCTBQE: just noticed that you're in NYC too. I didn't even want to go anywhere this weekend. Not a fan of the cold. Best of luck for November!

@WinterBee: I'm not familiar with the Easy @ home tests, but I have Wondfos that look very similar to the ones in your bottom picture. I'm hoping they work, however I never got a positive with them this month even though my cbefm said Peak. I think they work well for most people though.

Thanks everyone for your positive thoughts I have a scan on Wednesday morning (as they won't see me before I would have been 6 weeks along).

@illumina: hoping for the best for you! Some of my friends have had bleeding early in pregnancy and gone on to have healthy babies. Hope your doctor appt on Wed. will have a positive outcome.

@BandDmommy: @marley: but I'm so sick of the bfn's and wasting tests......

plus don't they test for pregnancy at your regular yearly check up? or am I wrong? I was there on Thursday, I'd think if I was PG they would have seen it???

  9. BandDmommy

@Ajsmommy: not unless you are starting BC or confirming pregnancy

Hey guys -- I'm having a second miscarriage, so I'm off the positive list. Hopefully I'll be able to join again sometime in the future.

    @illumina: how are you doing?

  20. illumina

    pomelo / 5469 posts

@BandDmommy: just hanging out waiting for my ultrasound tomorrow morning. Dr Google leads me to believe I have either 1) a SCH with an otherwise normal pregnancy, 2) an ectopic pregnancy or 3) a drawn out miscarriage.

@illumina: Your tests are still positive, right? And still dark? My guess is #1. Fingers crossed

  22. illumina

    pomelo / 5469 posts

@BandDmommy: Yes, definitely positive and not getting darker but not getting lighter either. I really hope so!

I have no idea what's going on with my cycle. It's CD 31. Last Monday I got Peak on my cbefm but negative wondfos. I had light spotting yesterday and the day before so maybe AF is coming.

  25. marley

    kiwi / 706 posts

@tiramisu: so you were spotting 6-7 dpo? doesn't that sound like implantation spotting?

  26. tiramisu

    apricot / 409 posts

@marley: I guess it could be implantation if the peak on the monitor was right. But I didn't really have ewcm at that time and with the negative wondfos, I was thinking maybe I didn't even ovulate this month. Not to mention (sorry for the tmi) we only BD once around that time, so chances are pretty slim.
How's your TWW going? Are your temps better with the new thermometer?

  27. marley

    kiwi / 706 posts

@tiramisu: Yes! I no longer have a "fever." I did have a weird dip yesterday (2dpo) and temp went back up today above my O-day temp. Maybe it's a fallback rise, but I'm really talking out of my you-know-what. I've also been cramping for the past 2 days, but I KNOW it's just hormones and not anything more exciting than that.

I was just thinking how crazy this TWW makes us. To other people it must look insane. "It's just two weeks! just wait!" I have to say I was one of those people but now I totally get it.

  28. tiramisu

    apricot / 409 posts

@marley: Lol, glad your new thermometer is working properly. I think maybe I need to try temping next month to get a better handle on things. Haha yes the TWW has made me into a crazy person. Thank goodness for HB because I definitely can't voice my craziness to people in real life. It's kind of funny, when we conceived my DD I wasn't even aware of all this TTC info. Sometimes the more info I know makes me more stressed out. Ah, ignorance is bliss sometimes.
Hope the next week or so goes fast for you! I can't believe Halloween is right around the corner. This year totally flew by!

@tiramisu: same here. Got off the pill and KU in a month. Didn't even get my first period yet. I didn't know I was pregnant until I was 7 weeks and have gone to a few happy hours.

@tiramisu: @marley: definitely agree that less knowledge is better! I wish I could un-know all the details and mechanics of TTC. Might need to take a break from the analysis next month as it was a bit much for me this time...that disappointment really suuucks.
