Hello ladies, I've been avoiding the board because I don't want to drive myself crazy before test day.
I had some major cramping last Friday but no AF, which is unusual for me as I usually start cramping the moment AF arrives. I'm not obsessing over it though because of my wonky cycles.
On a positive note, this has been my longest cycle post BCP excluding the first cycle, which was 28 days. I'm currently on CD 26, my previous cycles were 14, 19, 24 days respectively. I've been taking vitamin B co, I started last cycle and saw a difference, so I'm hoping it's helping again this cycle.
I have to admit that I was naughty and POAS yesterday, and obviously got a stark white BFN. I only have 1 test left, I'm not going to buy anymore unless Friday's test looks promising.
I'm really trying not to obsess over this.
All the best to you ladies and I pray we get tons of BFPs this month!

@Kaohinani: You're back, I'm so happy to see you here!
I missed you so much I even had a dream about you a while back.
We're cycle buddies this month, I'm also 4dpo today.

@paranundrum: I missed you as well. Wonderful, we can be cycle buddies this month! Your chart is looking great at 4 dpo. Mine is a bit crazy at the moment but I've been using a wearable BBT tracking device (Tempdrop) so as long as I was able to see my thermal shift, I am happy.

@Kaohinani: A wearable tracking device sounds great. One less thing to worry about. Do you just set a timer and it takes your temp without you having to wake up?

@Sams Mom: I'm so glad to read this! I was just thinking of your niece this morning and hoping everything was working out. I hope your aunt sees how good this change would be for her. My younger sibling was able to move away from home (I wasn't) and it was a great thing for him.
@Kaohinani: Welcome back!! I didn't know you'd taken a hiatus, but I'm so glad to see that the break has renewed your spirit and helped bring a bit of peace to the insanity of TTC!

I truly believed we were destined to fail yet again, but I swear I see something. I. Have. Never. Seen. Something. Not in 3 years. I DON'T BELIEVE MY OWN EYES.
(This is FMU 5dpt of a 5-day-old embryo.)

@paranundrum: This is the device I wear:
https://tempdrop.xyz
I, simply, press the "on" button and place it on my arm as soon as begin to feel tired. I then lay down to rest/sleep. Easy-peasy! It tracks BBT dermally throughout the night which is awesome because the most accurate BBT readings are 1 hour before one wakes (after 3 hours of consistent sleep) and not taken orally (due to mouth breathing, night drinking, etc). Tempdrop uses an algorithm to track sleep patterns and temperature. I find it runs about .50Β° F warmer than oral temperatures as I have been orally temping at the same time for consistency. The best part is that if I do not wish to wake early to take my BBT, I do not HAVE to! Whenever I wake, I just take off the device and sync it up to my cell phone (via the tempdrop app) and plug it into FF!
If you or anyone else decides to purchase one, I have a purchase code for $10 American off which will translate internationally as well.

@foodiebee: Thank you, hun!

@foodiebee: that line looks right on track for 10dpo ish! So exciting!

@foodiebee: I see a line, now the hard part is waiting to test another couple days to give it time. Or when is your beta scheduled?

@yellowbeach: We have a babysitter too - not planning anything exciting just going to dinner!

I'm nauseous today at 5-6 dpo. I'm clearly pregnant, right?
(Yes, I know I wouldn't have symptoms this early).

@skinnycow: of course! I do have my fingers crossed that another few days will bring you your BFP

I just heard from my Dr.'s office, and they squeezed me in at the end of the day, yay!

Thank you, everyone! You've helped me feel like I'm not imagining it. I never truly understood how hard those lines are to take a picture of until I tried. @Sams Mom: Beta is Friday!

@yellowbeach: Pelvic exam for cysts, go over how the femara has effected me:
Painful numbness in hands
Nausea
Insomnia
Muscle Fatigue
Mood Swings/Depression
Appetite changes (food tastes weird, and I don't really get hungry hungry.)
Decide what dose to do... Rinse and repeat for one more cycle until I have to settle on IUI or embryo adoption. I'm literally just coasting at this point, I don't think I'll get pregnant without major interventions at this point.

@LAZB: I did some quick googling and it looks like an option. It seems like a lot of people's insurance will cover the meds, but not the actual IUI so they do meds + TI.
nectarine / 2648 posts
@Sams Mom: I forget - does DH have any MFI issues? We asked about IUI for us early on, but my RE's response was that IUI was only if there was a component of MFI (few or poor swimmers), and the IUI would just help put the egg and sperm right next to each other. But I've seen lots of women who do it with no MFI. Just curious.

@yellowbeach: No, he even has excellent swimmer counts (couldn't roll my eyes hard enough because he excels at everything)
We're just unexplained secondary, which I feel makes it worse than having something definitive that you can form a plan of attack for.

I think I have a case of the "Mondays" with a bit of Progesterone mixed in.
So. Unbelievably. Tired.
It's 1334 (1:34 PM) and I am yearning for a nap as I can barely keep my eyes open. I'm only 4dpo - there is NO reason for this level of fatigue. #ConsideringANapLater

@foodiebee: not even a squinted. Thatβs a nice line. Congratulations. I hope the betas are good later in the week. I have no willpower and take millions of tests. Well I did with my second.
pomegranate / 3904 posts
@Kaohinani: I didnβt start my progesterone supplements yesterday because I thought about it and am only 3.5 dpo today lol. I wanted to put them off a day because they make me feel more sleepy too

So everything went well, no ovarian cysts. I unfortunately got the shit luck of the draw on side effects. He thinks that IUI might be helpful because a semen analysis doesn't check for everything, but he doesn't think that it's the cure all to raise my chances of pregnancy exponentially either.

Hi Everyone.... I finally decided to jump in over here.
Cycle Day: 10
TTC Cycle: 1st post MC in August
Ovulation Date: Not really sure what to expect yet... I'm trying to use ovulation tests because I don't know what to expect with my cycle just returning after my D&E
POAS Date: ETA: Totally misread the calendar... POAS date will probably be 10/20ish
Baby #: 4, we have 3 and had 1 miscarriage
Anything exciting happening this month: Hoping for some fall temperatures around here and a local fair/farm show we always look forward to!
Anyone have any advice for what to expect as your cycle comes back after a MC? I don't know if I should expect to ovulate around my "typical" cycle day from before or if I should just test every day to see what's happening? I feel new at this all over again!
pomegranate / 3904 posts
@creativemomma15: after my chemical pregnancy I ovulated a few days late and after my miscarriage I ovulated a couple days early π€·ββοΈ I was on clomid both times though

Iβm a little crampy and bloated today, which is annoying since Iβm only 3/4 dpo. We are going on a trip Wednesday through Sunday, so hoping that will help keep me from fixating too much

@creativemomma15: Welcome to the board! Best of luck this month! π€ We are a crazy-supportive bunch.

@creativemomma15: Glad you joined us! I'm also TTC after a recent loss, so I know how wonky and frustrating the return of your cycle can be. How old is your youngest?
@samsmom: sounds like you had a good appointment - anything to do about the side effects or just deal with them?
@lazb: Glad you have a good distraction. If your trip work or fun? I'm teaching a cadaver lab this week (Tues & Wed) and that's a little outside my norm, so it feels like a distraction waiting for Friday to come.

@Kaohinani: welcome back! Iβm cheering you on this month! rest up!

@Sams Mom: I'm glad to read that there were no cysts... that is half the battle won right there! π€
Keep positive, lady! One more cycle, maybe injectables and TI and then try IUI. You have options!!! IUI (or even ici) may just be what is needed simply because you have had a c-section and, from what I've been told by a few specialists, even small amounts of scar tissue can inhibit both the free movement of sperm for conception AND in creating a suitable environment for implantation. (I'm kinda beginning to believe it may be the source of my unexplained 2ndary infertility.) If you can bypass atleast one "possible" obstacle, AWESOME! I'm excited for you and, as always, holding out hope.
