I just remember being so thirsty that I was about to have a panic attack because I was SO thirsty. I got to the hospital around lunch time and had been busy at work the morning of, so I hadn't had any breakfast or even anything to drink since about 5pm the night before. I was in labor for over 24 hours and wasn't allowed anything at all to eat or drink the whole time.
I asked the midwife if I had pooped while I was in the middle of pushing.
While pushing I threw up. A lot. The first explosion of puke caught me off gaurd and I put my hand to my mouth to stop it I guess, but all that did was direct it upwards so I puked in my own eyes and hair. Sweet

I was in the hospital for 48 hours for my induction, so I did many funny things. My favorite is this: I had been pushing for about 45 minutes and knew baby was nearly here. The room was full of people - doctor, midwife, two nurses, observing intern and 4 nicu staff (meconium in fluid) plus my husband. When the doctor announced that she was here, my response was "Kick ass!". Really loud. With a fist pump. There was much giggling...

Induction was to start at around midnight. I sent my husband home to sleep and handled the first few hours of labor on my own. I called him around five.

I labored at home throughout the night and ended up getting to the hospital crowning. LO was born 15 minutes after we pulled in. It went so fast, all I could say after he came out was "Holy Sh**, Holy Sh**." Not exactly my most eloquent moment ha!

@MrsTiz: That really sucks they wouldn't let you drink! I remember while pushing I was SOOOOO thirsty! I gulped whole glasses of water between pushes and kept asking for more.

I peed on DH.
My catheter came out just before surgery (emergency c-section.) DH was holding my hand telling me everything would be OK and all of a sudden his shirt was soaking wet.
We had to delay the surgery for a couple minutes because he was no longer sterile enough to come in the OR.

Contractions started on the Tuesday, midwife broke my waters on the Saturday & while pushing and under the influence of ethonox and sleep deprivation, I remember talking to my husband about how to cut up veal. Wtf?
