About to get on a place in a couple hours, I try to get the window seat! I love taking off and landing. Flying is just amazing to me!

Window. All I do is stare at the ground and clouds when I'm in a plane, the earth looks so incredible!

Window. It has the best view, you get to control the sun shades, and nobody crawls over you to get in and out of the aisle. However, if I were to fly today I would want the aisle since I'm pregnant and could use it to stretch out my legs and wouldn't have to cram my belly past anyone to get to the bathroom.

Aisle! I hate flying and need to be as far away from the window as possible. I also sink low in my seat because it makes me feel closer to the earth. <----crazy.

Aisle, I like room to move. I always hope for the window too. Anything but the middle.

Window! I love being able to watch everything! It's always a hard decision for me though because I also HATE being stuck and having to get past 2 other people every time that I have to go to the bathroom. I try to hold it!

@autumnlove: me too! I always request aisle bc I want to get in and out easily without having to crawl over other people

aisle, i have a small bladder as well and can't stand being locked in. unless my DH is next to me, i can't stand window or middle.

window! i like to be able to see everything, lean on it to sleep and then no one is climbing over me to use the bathroom =) i try to avoid fluids right before and during flights to avoid having to go while onboard, lol

I'm with all of you window-watchers! I have always loved flying and still think it's one of the more exciting things I really love watching the ground get smaller as we're taking off and I love to look at the in-flight map during the trip to try to figure out over what we are flying. Yes, I'm a big nerd.
I'm a bit nervous now with my frequent trips to the bathroom if the window seat will be the best bet for me. Planning on traveling for work all throughout July so we'll have to see if I need to make a seat change to accommodate my bladder

Window! I held it for 13 hours one time from Japan to Vancouver. I was young and foolish.
Now preggers, definitely aisle!

I like the aisle so I don't have to crawl over anyone to get to the bathroom!

Aisle so I can get to the bathroom without disturbing the whole row. If it is just two seats and I'm with my husband the window is good though. I was stuck in the middle seat of the middle section on the way to Europe next to two strangers and that was the worst experience ever.

With the exception of being 32 weeks pregnant and flying, I always prefer the window! I love watching the world fly by. I absolutely hate being in the middle, but that is what I usually get when flying with my husband on packed flights, since I'm smaller.

window. although that is what DH likes too so when we travel I seem to end up in the middle every time.

Aisle all the way!! I like being able to walk around if I need to. I get too claustrophobic being by the window or middle.

Aisle. I don't like being the person climbing over the other person, especially when it requires waking them up. I don't mind window when traveling with DH, but he likes the window so I just usually give it to him.

Aisle! I have long legs and I find there's more room because I can stretch out into the aisle.

@Smurfette: DH needs the aisle or the window, so I always get stuck with the middle. I'm, also, tiny so middle isn't as bad for me. It still sucks, though.
We did start doing this thing where we sit across from each other and both get the aisle seat. It's kind of a win-win but I do love the window seat.

Window when I'm by myself, so I can look outside and have something to lean on when I sleep.
I usually end up with the middle, though, because hubs is so tall (6'3") and he gets the aisle seat.
