I was a little underwhelmed by the "saving the town" part.

I just watched this! I think the never land thing was a gateway to the next season and there is something about Henry that makes the lost boys look for him for their dark master. I'm curious what it is

Yes! Neil is definitely alive. He got to NY way back when because of the portal he got from the blue fairy, so he and is father could escape magic.
I love this Peter Pan twist, and how he is dark. I'm so intrigued and I also can't wait to find out how Captain Hook escaped Neverland!

I cannot wait for next season!! I'm also confused as to how Neil (and by extension, Hook?) escaped Neverland way back when. I love the Neil/Emma thing too
