I've had two 28 day cycles since my period returned at 11 months pp - now I'm on day 37 of this cycle with negative pregnancy tests. I'm still breast feeding so I think it's contributing?
Has this happened to anyone?

I've had 2 so far and they've been pretty regular and shorter actually!

Mine have been irregular! I had one 25 day cycle, then 18, then 38... we'll see what this next one looks like. I'm still breastfeeding 5+ times a day, and night nursing as well.

Yeah I've had around 5 periods and I got it 6-7 months ago. Some of my cycles are up to 45-ish days long. Still breastfeeding too. Causes for a few pregnancy scares!

@runsyellowlites: & @SAHM0811: phew! I keep thinking I'm pregnant but E nurses like every 3 hours still so I think it's messed up my cycle!

Mine are all over the place. I think it's partly due to the fact I went on depo for 3 months and then came off. I was having 34 day periods and then I recently had a 24 day cycle. Bizarro.

Mine came back at 5 months despite much breastfeeding, and 19 months (still breastfeeding) I think they're just now regulating. I've had two 28 day periods in a row and I think I'm about to get another. I'm also not pregnant despite ntnp for 10 months. Infertility and irregular periods are the norm when breastfeeding, also certainly not always.

I just got it for the first time 3 weeks ago, so I'm interested to see when it comes back!

@sarac: good to know...we've been using NFP to NTNP and I've gotten my hopes up! But no positives.

@HLK208: I think 'normal' is to not be able to conceive while breastfeeding. MANY women can - but many can't. It's a good system, evolutionarily.

Mine returned to normal right after my pp bleeding stopped. My cycles before kids were 30 days long, and after 2 kids they are still 30 days long exactly. I breastfed DS and am breastfeeding DD.
If I were in your shoes I would be freaking if I were late, because the only 2 times I was late it was because I was pregnant.
BUT, I know people's cycles pp and when bf aren't as regular as mine is so for you breastfeeding could be interfering.
