I think my 3 year old is getting to the point where she is requiring more one on one time from DH and I. Her sister is going to be 2 in a few months and does just about everything with us, which is awesome, but things get busy and hectic and I think she could benefit from some alone time with me or DH. I was thinking of taking her to do something maybe 1-2 times a month while DH stays home with LO2. I would also love to do one on one things with LO2 as well, but since LO1 goes to preschool she does get a bit more alone time, although not for long periods. I am trying to brainstorm some things I could do with them one on one. A few ideas I have are:

-Going out for a treat, ice cream or dessert
-Take a walk to the park (weather pending)
-Go to the library
-Do a necessary task like grocery shopping, and let them pick out some food items. I did this with LO1 before and she was SO good and loved it.

I want things that only cost a few dollars or are free, so that it's a doable activity and something we can plan ahead of time so she can look forward to it. I would love to hear some other ideas you guys may have!

Do you have one on one time with your LO's? If so, how often?
