I'm a fan of short one syllable middle names. Just curious what short middle names other bees used - both for boys and girls! We have several first name ideas both ways, but now starting to wonder what will go with them for the middle!

I tend to like one syllable middle names, though family names trump. LO's middle name is Jeanne (pronounced Jean) but a future female LO would likely have the middle name Pamela.
I love Mae and June as middle names.

I wanted June for LO middle name, but DH wanted his mother's name, so we went with that.

@Mrs. Confetti: Funny, right? Once DH and I realized how funny it sounds when we put them all out there, we decided that of course our kids will all have single syllable middle names that end in -ay(e). It works for us.

Not technically one syllable, but my favorite girls' middle names are Agnes and Lucy-they're both short and sweet!
For a boy, I like John as a one syllable name.

@PEAPIE: wooo gray, hadn't thought of that!
@Smurfette: @Mae: Claire is a good one!
@rahlyrah: we love Blake and wanted it as first name but it's my step-nephews name. Might work for middle name though!
@stine_ciro: Clark is good, I have a thing for names that are commonly last names
@lawbee11: these are all good!

DD's middle name is similar to June and is her great grandmother's maiden name.
I like short middle names, especially with longer first names.
