DS2 is army crawling backwards and in circles but can't get moving forward. He's almost 7 months. I don't think DS1 did this, but maybe my memory is just fuzzy. Did your LO do this?

Yes, DD did this and she never got crawling. After a couple of weeks she decided she hates going backwards and gave up. She's one now and can sort of army crawl forward but she's not interested in it at all. She scoots around sitting up instead, and is trying to walk.

DD did this when she first started crawling. She was just figuring it out. She started crawling forward later that same month.

@travellingbee: DS is doing this too. I sort of remember my DD doing it and then she caught on to forward crawling around 8ish months.

Yes. For awhile that was the only way she was "mobile"

Mine didn't but i had like a million people "warn" me that he would start crawling backward and not to worry. So I'm thinking it's relatively common

Yup, DD did this.

DS did this. I think within a month he started to go fowards.
