R doesn't want to nurse on my left side at all this weekend. She will do it for a couple mins latches off and starts crying. If I move her to the right she then eats no problem.
What do I do? I am afraid she us going to kill my supply in that side.

Could she have an ear infection? Or sore neck? Or something that might make her uncomfortable/in pain when she's lying on that side.
Try different positions or dangle nursing to try and get her to take the left.

L does this a lot- she randomly picks a favorite at different times. Sometimes when she pops off really soon, I'll offer a finger for her to suck on, then pop her back on the same side and it seems to confuse her enough that she'll try again. (well, now that she has teeth she will only gnaw on fingers, not suck them, so I use a soothie instead!)

J did this. It was one of the reasons I decided to start EP! I hope she gets back to normal soon. If you are worried about your supply I agree with PP and say pump

Could be teething perhaps? Maybe try some other positions on the left side (side-lying, football hold, dangle etc) but if you're supply is generally pretty good then one or two days of minimal feeding shouldn't cause too much trouble.

@aprk: she had a small one on the 1st at her weight check. The doctor gave me a prescription and said to fill it if she gets a fever or seems bothered by it. So we are going to fill it now just in case. I have been positioning her so she wasn't laying on the ear but she still doesn't like it.
@Kemma: I think she might be. I just have no idea since I haven't dealt with it before. She is fussy, drooling a ton, spitting up a lot more, and DH and I think we feel something but aren't sure.
@tororojo: this last time I would sit her up for a minute and the she would relatch when I laid her down but would go off within an minute.

We went through this for about a month when DD was about 2 months. I would offer my left side and she would scream her head off. Offer my right and she would happily latch. I just always tried that side first then returned back to it when she was done with her favorite. We tried every position under the sun and eventually she did take that side in a very uncomfortable acrobatic position for me! I just keep offering and eventually she took it regularly and in a more normal position. I made the mistake of not pumping and it did take a hit to my supply so I recommend doing that.! Hang in there!
