love the color scheme! i like the navy/coral idea. what about navy on one wall like you said, the rest of the room gray, and coral accents?

Love the color scheme, love the inspiration pics, but I'm not quite sold on the glider against a same-colored wall. I would worry it will just blend right in? Maybe if you got a pink/coral throw to keep over the back of it?

I loveeeeee navy blue walls! I also love navy blue for a girl's room. I wanted to do navy on the walls of our nursery, but my husband was sort of freaked out by the idea. I think your ideas look awesome!

Is your home bright enough to do dark walls? Mine isn't so I wouldn't even attempt an accent wall that dark.

I LOVE the idea. I think there is potential for the chair to look a little lost but a throw and cute pillow would help. I would also just make sure there is something else light colored nearby like a little table with a lamp or something. But please, please, please do it and post pictures for us! I would totally steal the idea for our nursery if I hadn't just painted our bedroom navy (and I love it!)

I adore that color scheme! I think the dark walls and dark chair will be okay together- maybe if you went to offset it a little, drape a light colored blanket over the back of the chair or add an accent pillow? I think it will be so cute!

Oooo I love those colors together! And I like @TemperanceBrennan: idea for doing a white chair rail so the chair pops and doesn't blend into the walls.

Love the color combo! I like the idea of white/light furniture and maybe the white wainscoating so that navy chair doesn't blend in too much.

I love the Navy & coral!!! I would do Navy as an accent wall and not all four. Dark colors make a room smaller.

Such a gorgeous colour scheme! I really like the idea of white chair rail if you think it might be too much dark blue. How is the natural light in there? That will make a huge difference.

An accent wall would look great, but so would a white chair rail. I had a navy room as a kid, and I loved it...but it was DARK.

I think it would look great if you went ALL navy for a dramatic look! What about getting the glider reupholstered? Is that an option?

Love navy & coral together!! I'd either do an accent wall or all walls with a white chair rail. Otherwise I think the room will be too dark if you don't have a lot of natural light in that room.
