Help! I have really had a hard time finding chairs for our table. This is our first time in a home and it is stressful making these big purchases!
Do you think these will look good together? I want something modern but not a specific "decade" or style. I'm having trouble finding something in between traditional and modern.

what style are you going for? you can try upholstered chairs with that dining table for a more traditional look.

With a table like that; I personally don't think those chairs really fit. They say "casual" while the table says "formal". What about something more like mission style chairs in a stain to match the table? I don't think of mission style (and similar) as being really modern or traditional, they just seem solid.

The dining table has a formal, traditional feel, while the chairs are more vintage, midcentury look. I like the chairs, but i think the styles would clash.

I second the upholstered chairs. They would actually go well with the chair and fit the formal look of the table.

@Freckles: @Mrs. Bee: I love those chairs... but can't imagine having upholstered chairs until any and all LOs are grown up and out of the house! Do people slipcover them?? I don't know anyone who has fabric chairs and kids.

I like those to go with a more modern looking dining room table. Maybe a glass-top table or something with more angles -- less curves.
I also worry about comfort... but then again I'm usually one to sacrifice comfort for good design sense, so who am I to judge
