All systems go!
Just took my afternoon opk and it looks as about positive as you can get. However, I have always had a positive opk every month, yet my progesterone draw always shows I didn't ovulate, or not as "strong" as I should.
I am on cycle day 14 today, clomid 100mg, and have not had an u/s due to the holiday. Progesterone blood draw will be next friday.
Do you trust opks? If so, when do you bd for the best chances?

@mrs. bird: I have stopped charting/temping since I have been on clomid. I thought it would be best for my heart and sanity to just ride the waves. I however, cannot give up my opks. I at least like to have an idea of where I am at if I cannot get in to have an u/s.

I trust OPKs, but progesterone checks, charting, and ultrasounds have shown that I ovulate. My RE says to have sex the day and the next two following days when getting a positive OPK.

I 100% trust OPKs, they have always worked for me. What has your 7dpo progesterone draw come back as? I had an 8 my first time, and that definitely meant I O'd.

@Mrs.Someone: On my 1st cycle of clomid 50mg it was 11.1. 2nd cycle of clomid 50mg it was 13.5. Dr. said he likes all medicated cycles to be above 15.
Un-medicated cycles can be above 10.

@mrs bunchy: I don't know much about clomid vs. not, but over 10 means you definitely O'd at least, so I wouldn't be worried about that. I have a friend who tested consistently under 10, got pregnant, and didn't start taking Progesterone until BFP.

@mrs bunchy: Have you taken any subsequent OPKs since you posted?
I have PCOS, and when I was unmedicated, I would get positive OPKs days before starting AF, which is to say that they were useless. But once I was on Clomid, my OPKs were 100% consistent with the b/w and u/s I was getting.

Looks positive to me.
I absolutely trust OPKs, but I have a very regular cycle and charting/blood draws/ultrasounds have all shown that I O regularly.
