Hi there!
Does anyone have this car seat? I am looking to purchase a convertible...
Do you like it? Do you recommend it?
Thanks!

I looked at it with high hopes but ultimately chose the Peg-Perego convertible seat as it was comparable in design as well as price and quality.
I don't know if you have an Orbit infant seat but one main concern was the fact that it does rotate.
It claims that that is a convenience and it is, but I was afraid of its stability because a seat with a base that rotates scares me. Ultimately, we are most most most interest in ERF, so the deal breaker was the 35lb RF limit vs PP's 40 lb.

@CupQuakeWalk: ugh I hate gear decisions! LO is very tall... and doesn't weigh much (90th height and 20th weight)... so that is a concern for me since she outgrows by height before weight in most everything... I am mainly interested in orbit's green claims as that matters to me a lot. However, the seat won't get that much use either... ahh! (As in, we will drive once a week for a playdate and any random appointments otherwise be walking everywhere else...)
Do you like your PP?

We have the orbit baby system for infant and that was great because were able to move the infant seat to the stroller base and it was perfect.
I do not have good things to say about their toddler system.
There is a toddler car seat that can be use for the with the stroller base - we have this and we like as a car seat... but on top of the stoller base... it's way too bulky! I will even go as far to say that it's a bit embrassing how bulky it is that I never want to use it. We actually have a seperate stroller now.

You can shell out more money for the toddler stroller seat.
This is not as bulky and I have seen friends that have it and it's very nice but... I can't justify paying another 200+ dollars for that. So as I said before we have a seperate stroller now... just a cheapy one since we don't really stroll him as much anymore.

I will say we still like the toddler car seat for what it is... because if LO falls asleep when we are on our way to dinner we can just put in the stroller and stroll him into resturants or somewhere where the bulkiness is not super embrassing without waking him which is the only case we actually use it as a stroller anymore.

We have the Orbit g2 system, we decided against their convertible car seat because it doesn't recline when you have it rear facing. It was a wonderful system when we used it in the infant stages. Lo still loves his Orbit stroller.
We got the Peg Perego car seat in black leather. We love it.

@mamabear57: us too!!
I can't speak on usin the PP yet. We haven't actually used our PP yet because mine & dhs cars have the Combi. We originally got the Combis because they are small an perfect for small cars. But-- now my mom wants a car seat so I got myself the PP & giving her the combi next week when I see her.
When I unboxed it though I fell in LOVE. The quality is remarkable. If we have a 2nd LO soon, we will get the PP infant seat as well.

I didn't get the toddler seat because it didn't recline and it was really bulky and we travel frequently so I needed one that was more lightweight.
ETA: we have the infant seat and LOVE it and saved it to use with LO #2

We looked at it but didn't seriously consider it. It seemed to me that it would be outgrown more quickly than other comparably priced seats. We went with a Foonf and love it.
