No, I keep them seperate, I'm a mix and matcher, so pants could work with another shirt ect. If a pair of navy pants come with an outfit no reason for me to have to get another pair for her to wear with a different short.

I used to make outfits so that DH could easily dress her as well. But now he's comfortable mixing and matching on his own so I group everything by type.

I mostly separate sets, but for the ones that don't match anything else I keep them together. It makes it easy to direct DH to a single outfit. When left to separates he gets overwhelmed.

I do outfits together, hung in a 6 compartment organizer from the closet rod so my husband and I can just grab and dress in the morning. I even put the socks in the compartment.

I separate them and put them in with the "appropriate" stacks. I remember which pieces belonged to which outfit. Plus, we were gifted a bunch of hand me downs so I like that I can mix and match his pants and onesies and the jackets go with anything.

@Foodnerd81: We're the same - Xander's been living in footed sleepers because that's the extend that my husband is willing to dress him! I already had to warn him that it's harder to find footed sleepers in 12m, so we're going to have to start dressing Xander in "real clothes" soon!

@glimmersnaps: I don't have that issue, thank goodness. I've only had to change him twice in one day a handful of times.

I do this method primarily because the sorting by piece of clothing type didn't work for me...I'd pull out a pair of pants and then have to go through all the onesies to find one that didn't clash with it, so I just started grouping things together.

@Foodnerd81: We have some of those too!!! Although Hubs doesn't like them as much as the sleepers because he has to actually put them over Xander's head and they only button around the legs!
