I nursed my son right before his nap this afternoon and he fell asleep in my arms. As I was carrying him to his crib, he started to suck on my chin which he does often. I usually pull him off but let him stay since we were so close. I immediately traded a pacifier for my chin when we got to the crib and I went downstairs where we had company for Father's Day.

All of a sudden, everyone started to stare at me and gasp. The reactions were as if I had walked downstairs naked, so I nervously ran to the mirror. On my chin, right where my son had continued to "nurse," was a quarter-sized hickey that had already turned bright purple. Just awesome.

I can't wait to explain this one tomorrow back at work!
