This is so great! LO is 2.5 months and we're just starting to integrate montessori practices. I really like the mobile! Where did you find that? I also love the wall decals. We don't have the space for E to have his own room, but maybe one day!

Awesome! I became interested in Montessori after I had already decorated the nursery so I really love seeing other people's interpretations of the method so I can live vicariously through them!

Love to see more Montessori nurseries! You may have to move that diaper box off the bottom of your charging table at some point - your baby will be so used to everything being at their level that they'll be stoked to dump it out!

@emg86: Love it. In the 2nd pic, the horizontal mirror and mobile, what is that space? I am sorry for being ignorant! And.....after crib, first pic, just mattress on floor?

@Beebug: Thanks! The area with the mirror and mobile is called a movement mat area. It's where tummy time, Montessori mobile time and play time is supposed to happen. I just put down a quilt from Home Goods and a very comfy sheepskin rug down on the floor for her.

@emg86: Ok, cool! Love the prefold stash, too! I am considering moving LOs change pad to the floor (and not using change table), so honestly that's what I thought it was for (I'm embarassed now, ha!) We're moving in the summer, so I am already planning new room! I have never heard of a montessori nursery before this, so pardon my ignorance, and I did some googling to learn

@Beebug: No worries! I've seen several nurseries with changing pad areas on the floor with baskets holding diaper supplies and such. I think it's a great idea, especially for wiggly babies or if you don't want to take up too much room with a changing table.

@scg00387: Ikea! They're just Ribba picture ledges--I believe they come in a few different sizes.
