She's got a case of the sniffles, runny nose and a little bit of a cough. She was coughing some last night but I just thought she swallowed wrong.
Anything I can do besides run a cool most humidifier, incline her mattress?
I'll call peds tomorrow if she doesn't improve/gets worse?

Oh gosh, I have no clue. I'm so scared for M's first cold!! I hope she gets better quickly.

Aww poor thing! The humidifier works well. Steaming up a bathroom works really well for congestion. I used to turn on the sink water and shower water on full on HOT and steam it up. Then I would let him sit in his bathtub on a while until his nose was running and all of the mucous dripped out. Then I used the nose frida to suck out all of his mucous. He would sleep a lot better after I did this.

Oh no!!! So random Hope she gets better soon!! If she gets congested, I would nose frieda her if you have a NF!

Thanks everyone!
I gave her a bath then NF -I've been so scared of it but I (wo)maned up!- and got some mucous out.
Her right eye is watery and red on the outside too but earlier we saw a hair on her eye so that might be why.
Little thing is a trooper though. She was fussy today for daddy but this evening she wasn't too bad. Starting to fall asleep now. Hopefully some good sleep and she'll be better in the a.m.
Wondering if I should stay home and keep her out of daycare tomorrow....

massage the tear ducts to get some of the gunk out if they are draining.

Poor thing slept like normal last night just coughing during nursing?! NF her before putting her back in her crib. This morning her nose sounded a lot better. Sat in a hot steamy bathroom with before NF again.
Last night I was worried but this morning my husband was more worried. So we decided I'll stay home with her. We figure another day at home will help her heal faster. So it'll just be a whole day of nursing when she wants and letting her nap all day in my arms if she wants!
We did call the ped and they were not too concerned because she has no fever.
Little one is such a trooper really. She's still in a good mood, smiling, coo-ing. Just gives me a small whimper after coughing.
