LO2's labor & delivery last month was really fast & (relatively) easy. LO1's labor lasted for days so everyone I talk to wants to know how long this labor was.

I woke up at 3 am and *knew* labor was coming. I felt the same way with LO1's labor and at no point in between. I was 100% certain.

At 2:30pm I tried out my contraction timer app to get familiar with it. I could time 'sensations' 14 minutes apart. At 3:30pm they were 5 minutes apart, still no pain. I was sitting on the couch alone watching tv and eating cookies. Pretty sure I was timing them according to what I wanted them to be and not according to reality.

At 5:00 the pain went from zero to all the way. I was 10 cm when I got to the hospital around 6:20pm and baby was born at 6:45pm.

So when did labor start? When the pain started? When the contractions were 5 minutes apart? When I first timed contractions?
