DD has a diaper rash all of the sudden that she screams when I wipe her
Best way to treat/help ?!?!
Or could it be a food reaction?!?
She ate craisians?

@FaithFertility: my DS, who is 22 months gets the WORST diaper rash when he eats raisins. So odd. We use triple paste & it clears right up.

Sounds like a reaction. DS has had the worst diaper rash since he started whole milk a few months ago. We use Aquaphor or Butt Paste when it gets really bad. Naked time is also really helpful!

Oh poor baby! Usually my LO has to eat a lot of something to give her diaper rash but some kids are more sensitive. When she has an awful rash I use just a wet paper towel instead of wipes, as even gentle wipes seem to make it worse.
The only thing that gave her really awful diaper rash was a combo of pampers sensitive wipes and diarrhea. It was awful. We still can't use those wipes at 2!

Thanks
@MommySLP: funny about the raisains as the craisains is the only "new" thing she ate!
We have tile so she is going diaper free as much as possible

Lots of bare butt time and tons of diaper cream when she needs to wear a diaper. Good luck! Also, when DD has diaper rash, I dab rather than wipe to avoid further irritation.

@Torchwood: The pediatrician insisted the milk wasn't the problem because he had no reaction to formula. We are currently getting him tested for food allergies.

Don't know what brand diapers you are using, but I just returned a box of target brand diapers that gave LO terrible diaper rash for the first time in her life. We checked food, changed wipes. Etc, for almost a week and nothing helped. I opened up a new box (exact same brand/size) of diapers and it went away almost immediately.

Using the blow dryer for diaper changes when LO had a diaper rash was a game changer. He has never had an issue since.
