DH and I are going to a wedding this weekend on the beach. It's hot as bejeezus here and I don't want to be sweaty hot out there, nor do I want to spend a lot of money on anything, since I spent too much on their gift haha
I have NO. idea what to wear! I've never been to a beach wedding, or know anyone that has. Do you wear shoes?!?
I'm looking at like Target, Belk, Forever21, etc.

Beach wedding.. If the ceremony's on the sand I wouldn't wear shoes.

I would wear a nice flowy sundress! I think a maxi would be too hot. But I would definitely still wear shoes, I would probably go low key and wear a cute pair of flip flops or something though

I would wear nice sandals but no heels/wedges if you haveto walk on sand. I would definetely stick with cotton sundress, something that breathes so you aren't sweating through and showing it (like satin!)

My cousin got married on the beach last year and everyone just wore sundresses and sandals; guys wore khakis and either polo or short sleeve button up shirts. The bride and groom kept it pretty informal though (she wore an at knee strapless bridal gown and he work khakis and a Hawaiian shirt).

I'm in Florida, I've been to lots of beach weddings. It really just depends on the wedding, it can be anywhere from very fancy to a sundress. If it's in the sand usually you take your shoes off for the ceremony, but then usually the reception is back in a hotel or something so you need shoes for that. I wouldn't wear heels just in case.

I'd wear a sundress and take my shoes off and carry them with me for the ceremony.
