This is going to be interesting. I am going to a party this weekend that is honoring my new place of employment, among others. The invite requests cocktail attire, but also stresses to be mindful that there is going to be a yoga demonstration/class & dancing at the end of the event.
What the heck do you wear to a work-related cocktail/yoga/dance party? HELP!!!!

@Mrs. Jacks: Yes! I'm excited, though. We are all a bit confused about what to wear. So far everyone at the new job is super nice, mellow, down-to-earth.

I had the same sort of deal. A baby shower where we did yoga. I found a maxi dress worked well!

ETA if it mentions cocktail attire, it's probably yoga that's cocktail attire friendly (head/neck stretches, arms, etc). I would think?

That sounds tough to dress for! Maybe you could wear a dress with a looser fitting skirt so it's easier to do yoga poses in?

@mrsjazz: that is a tall order! what about stretchy ponte material cropped pants and a blousy top and jewelry? and flats. hip hop yoga... very interesting!
