Do you ever have trouble believing stories like this? She had so many tests and obviously saw a Dr....how did they miss it?!

have you ever watched "I didnt know I was pregnant"? I'm like seriously?

Yeah I don't buy it. Surely they did an ultrasound to check her ovaries before deciding to remove them? Also painful cramps as a symptom, one of the first suspects probably was an ectopic pregnancy.
How the crap do you miss a 9 pound baby until just before a surgery?

Yes, a 9 pound baby at 32 weeks? I guess it's very hard to believe she didn't know she was pregnant & no one else did either? hmmmm....something seems fishy.

How? I was such a witch while pregnant, everyone knew because of those crazy hormones.

How on earth could they have done six pregnancy tests without finding that out? And 9 pounds at 32 weeks seems crazy huge for the mom not to be showing at all.

I just don't get this AT ALL!
I've watched "I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant" and I can ALMOST buy it when they continue to have their periods and don't gain very much weight. But this woman saw DOCTORS and had tests! How it is possible they didn't figure this out???
Also - 9 lbs at 32 weeks??? That's crazy!

I don't see how you couldn't see a baby on an ultrasound once she was farther along? Weird!!!!

How did she not show a 9 pound baby?
Also, 9# at 32 weeks. BS.
What kind of doctor decides to remove a woman's ovaries without doing an abdominal ultrasound?

I could see how SHE would not know she was pregnant (only because I watched I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant religiously)...but I can't see how her doctors, nurses, and techs didn't.

A 9lb baby at 32 weeks? uhhh..
I know a girl who swears she didn't know she was pregnant. She went to the hospital for stomach pains and delivered a son. Some things in her story don't add up, though, and I've never been a believer...

This was my mom. She was like 6 months along when she found out she was pregnant with me. They did all these tests and nothing ever showed up she was pregnant. They did an ultrasound looking for cancer and there I was! lol That was around Halloween. I was born in February.

@loveisstrange: I can actually see how someone could not know they were pregnant for the first 6 months. Then you were found when they did the ultrasound, which makes sense.
But 32 weeks in and she's assumably had multiple abdominal scans (at least I'd hope so before doctors recommended removing her ovaries?) and she was literally just about to have a surgery when they found a 9lb kid inside her? I just find that really hard to believe.

I can mayyyyybe believe up to 5 or 6 months, but after that I really don't understand. There is *something* moving around inside of you - if I didn't know there was a baby in there I would be freaking out! Also, I cannot bend anymore and my belly is HARD - that's not normal weight gain because extra fat is nice and squishy... And, so so so many other signs!

@loveisstrange: Oh my goodness! I can't imagine only having 3 months to mentally prepare for a baby... were you the first?

How did they calculate she was 32 weeks when the baby was 9 pounds?! And 3 scans....

Wow! I don't understand how any of the doctors didn't know. Wouldn't they do tests on her abdomen/ovaries before deciding that removal was necessary?

@Snowdrop: This is what I'm wondering...I don't think she was only 32 weeks. How could they know for sure at that point?

I do not believe that a woman who just gave birth less than 2 years before didn't know she had a 9lb. baby inside of her. Come on now; someone's pants are most definitely on fire.
