DS (5 months today), has been waking every 20-40 minutes for his pacifier starting around 3am. It's been getting steadily worse since his four month sleep regression and his transition out of the swaddle (he's now in the Magic Sleepsuit). Once we get up and pop the paci back into his mouth, he's asleep almost instantly and spits it out soon after. Once it's out, he wakes up and it's the same game all over again.
We have only used the pacifier for sleep and naps, but now I'm thinking it's time for us to go cold turkey. I HATE that we're even considering this...I never imagined I would have to do CIO. Has anyone else ever been in this boat? What did you do? How did it go? How did you break the paci habit for naps?
