My 7 week-old has been making a strange noise at night when he goes to sleep. I've called the ped and they said I can make a sick visit appointment, but I'm not sure I'm at that point. I've talked to a lactation consultant (actually two), and both said it doesn't sound like reflux (which is what the ped's nurse suggested.)

He only makes this sound when he first goes down at night (not for naps, not when he's fed in the middle of the night.) I do burp him, although not for a really long time. Sometimes he will make this noise off and on for 20 minutes, other times much less. He is not upset. To me, it seems like he is struggling a bit for air. He doesn't make this sound any other time of day.

Am I being a nervous nelly, or would you take him in?

Let's see if this video works...

ETA: There's a white noise machine on. I tried to record it without the noise, but then he wakes up
