@Silva: In my fancy maternity jeans, I got my same pre-preg size because they're SO stretchy and had the full belly panel. I have been able to wear them my whole pregnancy, but it probably wouldn't have hurt to go one size up as even the belly panel is getting snug at 37 weeks:)

Can I tell you all how excited I am that I did not even go look at the jeans on Zulily bc at 37 weeks preg, I"m all "PEACE OUT MATERNITY CLOTHES!!!!"

@Silva: I found that the fit of maternity pants was generally far more forgiving than regular pants, both in the sense that I got pants in my pre-preg size (and actually, my pre-preg size kind of wavered between two sizes, and I found that the SMALLER of the two sizes fit me better in maternity clothes because of the stretch factor), and that I wasn't as picky about needing to try them on because generally most pants in my maternity size looked ok (whereas I'm SUPER picky about fit when not-pregnant and wouldn't consider buying without trying on).

Bah! 34 weeks and wondering if I should get a pair. Haah my prepreg jeans fit with a belly band but the zipper's starting to dig into my flesh...

So the ticker kept telling me "Hurry, only x# left!" until there were only 3 left, so I bit the bullet and bought this one a size up (none in my size left). What d'ya ladies think? Acceptable to wear PP for awhile too?

@shopaholic: Love those! I have no reason to buy them, but I hope they come back on Zulily if I have another LO!

I agree w/ pp's, but the end of the road, I refused to spend another DIME on maternity clothes. My boss made fun of me because I was cycling through the same 3 outfits every day for over a month.

@shopaholic I think they'd be totally fine post partum - no one would even be able to tell unless you're wearing a crop top with them! I have really only liked full panel stuff past 36 weeks

@silva answers seem to vary wildly on this and with every brand. I have not tried this brand but I bought a size up in Gap Jeans and even though I'm carrying huge, they've always been baggy. My pre-pregnancy size in Old Navy fits perfect. I don't think there is any good way to guess where the weight will go and how stuff will fit, unfortunately

I'm not going to lie, I still wear my Paige maternity jeans 4 months pp, even though my regular jeans DO fit. Mine are white (I know, I know, white after Labor Day, but I live in a tropical climate, I'm allowed!), and they're just the best pair of white jeans I've ever had in terms of not being kind of see through. I always wear them with a tunic or longer top of some part, so hopefully no one realizes they're maternity jeans!!
