It was announced yesterday that starting next week, Instrad if raising prices pampers will just be downsizing packages ( reducing the number per package)... Makes me glad that I switched to the target brand recently!

I have to admit it kinda pisses me off. If I show it to DH, we'll never get Pampers again 
But I like them. They seem softer than say the Kirkland brand. And they don'y smell IMO.

I buy the 140-ct. box! I want my 8 diapers! Hmmm, I wonder if I should stock up now, we just switched LO to size 5 which is a bit big on her so she will be in it for a bit.

Yeesh. I'm glad I stocked up ahead of time. I think we are good on Pampers until Xmas!
This is like when Shipley's kept the prices of their donuts the same....but shrunk the donuts. My heart was a little broken.

We have enough to last us another two months, maybe a little less...but then after that I don't know. It looks like they are downsizing on Luvs too, if I am understanding correctly. Such a bummer.

that sucks! I cant buy any other brand than pampers because the others irritate LO's skin. I dont stock up too much though because I worry she will outgrow the size and I will be stuck with the extra diapers

@edelweiss: so far they are doing the job, definitely not as soft to the touch as Pampers, but at half the cost ( think I paid $25 for 156 size 4 diapers) I can't complain.

@BabyBoecksMom: yeah, I feel like it's tricking consumers. I bet a lot of people don't pay much attention to the diaper count but they pay attention to the price.
