I'm worried this is going to happen in the summer. LO learned to open our sliding glass and screen door. I'm due in June so I'm going to be plenty distracted and she'll have ample opportunity to get out. I have to find a solution to keep the screen part closed when the glass is open.

I'm worried about allergies - when he leaves my bubble and goes to preschool and beyond will he be safe (peanut and treenut allergies). Will he feel left out and will the other families be supportive? I read an awful post somewhere the other day where parents were ranting that they couldn't bring cupcakes for their child's birthday because of all the allergies he didn't choose to be born allergic! And figuring out the triggers for his eczema is a related but slightly less worrisome issue.

He is tall enough to unlock and open our doors now! And has obviously watched and figured it all out. Luckily still wants to be in his crib, otherwise I would be right there with you on the escape fears!

I'm usually not the worrying type, but these two things always raises my heart rate >> DS accidentally running out into the street and getting hit by a car. And I get nervous around bodies of water too - like the pool or ocean.

Choking! My 10.5 month-old is a great eater, but she did choke on some cheerios the other day and it freaked me out! She's fine, but now I am super paranoid.

My worries...
DD2 - putting something in her mouth that she could choke on. Just yesterday, she put a jelly bean and a peanut m&m in her mouth that DD1 dropped from her easter basket.

DD1 - I worry about furniture falling on her. Oh and she started swinging her body on the upstairs gate. Yikes.

DS - I worry about his attitude lol. I just want him to stop being defiant so he turns out okay!!

@Mae: I worried about the same with my first one. Glad I'm not alone. I also worried about not using bottles fast enough before they spoiled. @Mrs. High Heels: yes water! My parents have a pool and pond. More worried with the pond because you can't see the bottom. We did survival lessons and he now can float. Will keep working on it.

Life with DD has been such a struggle lately, with daily full blown, screaming and kicking on the floor meltdowns. I worry about her attitude and being spoiled and entitled, as well as her emotional stability. And I worry about our relationship when she's older - I fear she's going to hate me as a teenager.
