Basically, this article discusses how parents aren't as annoying on Facebook as they are perceived to be. What do you think? I'm always very careful not to overshare pictures and stories, but I know family and friends are genuinely interested. It's tough to find a happy medium!

I get tired of pictures that are basically the same pose over and over, but overall I like when friends/family post about their kids. I don't get to see them often, so it lets me stay connected. And the people who post too many pictures of the same type tend to overdo pictures, period. I don't care about your food either.

@babypugs: I think the article makes good points at the study's weaknesses at the end--those are some big points. I don't find baby pictures annoying.....maybe not always interesting, but that's goes for many categories of pictures! My news feed is filled with pictures of people's sandwiches, nature, babies, pets--it's what I expect.

@Torchwood: we posted at the same time! Yes to the food pictures! Unless you're a pro, pictures of food normally do not look appetizing anyway. Enough already!

It depends on the parents, some people definitely overshare, they discuss poop in detail and keep updating every second. I personally send out an email to family with photos more frequently rather than update on facebook all the time

I think the number of moms that are really annoying are few. But those moms are SO annoying that they make the rounds of water cooler chat and get perceived as the norm.

@Torchwood: @Happygal: Haha, I'm with you on the food photos! Occasionally, something will look great, but honestly half the time it looks like something that has been regurgitated.
@Mrsbells: @Mae: There are definitely a few oversharers that I dread having babies. Not sure my news feed could handle it!

@Mrsbells: a friend posted a pic of her baby straining to push out a poop. She was straining so hard that snot was coming out of her nose. Not so cute!

What's more annoying to me are the people who post every.single.day or multiple times a day. Some of them happen to be parents, some are not. I just find the sheer volume of posts overwhelming.
