G's birthday is quickly approaching & I'm a tad stuck on what we can have the kids do... the ages will range from 5-10 and the theme is lego Batman. The invite specifically talks about catching the Joker and DH is dressing like Batman (he went all out) and G wanted to be the Joker.

It'll be the end of August here in Texas so doing alot outside isn't ideal... we also have a tiny tiny 900 sq ft house. We do have a nice shaded area right off the back porch that I *think* we could set some activities up though....

I thought that *maybe* setting up an obstacle course type thing that DH could take the kids through to try & "catch" G (the Joker) would be something and DH suggested doing face painting, making the kids into different batman heroes, really just robin, & villains (I was already planning on making masks & capes but I could scratch that) and then there is always the Batman movies & lego batman video game.

I'm just not sure if something like an obstacle course would be appealing to older school aged kids, I always see them on preschool age kids parties.

Thoughts?
