Which day is better, in your opinion, for a first birthday party in early June?

Do you have any OOT people coming? Then Saturday would probably be best. But if everyone is local I don't think it matters. I prefer to have LO's parties on Sunday, but I don't have a good reason for it.

As a guest, I'd prefer Sunday, only because on Saturday we use as our errands day.

@artbee: well, my parents would come and I think my SIL's family would come. We will invite her god parents who live out of town but we don't expect them to come (they live 5 hours away). That's about it for OOT'ers.
Something else - I will have Friday but not Monday off so, I won't have Monday to wind down from it.

We always do Sundays for family parties so I voted Sunday

we picked saturday, so this way we have sunday to clean and relax! i think more people would have preferred us to have picked sunday, but we did what was more convenient for us.

I picked Saturday. But we, and most of our guests, are doing church stuff on Sundays.

I picked Saturday because Sunday is our chore day and get ready to go back to work day.
