Nope, if for some reason I need them my boss will print them out for me. I don't keep any of them!

We keep everything for 7 years. After that we toss them. I think that is the same amount of time our government keeps records.

We own our own business so we are our own "work" haha. Nobody would have our stuff on file if we didn't keep it.

The typical records retention schedule for financial documents are 5-7 years.

I have 3 years worth, I think. So much paper!!!!

@winniebee: Depending upon your company, they should be keeping them the same amount of time. Ideally, they should be destroying them after 7 years. Some of the records I handle, it's laughable to see any need to retain them longer than 5 years because it's no longer relevant or useful information. If your taxes have been filed on them, you really only need to keep them a few years in case of audit. Beyond 7 years, financial records become useless and destruction worthy.

I don't even print mine, though they are all available through our intranet at work if I needed them. I agree with @buffalove we keep our annual statement (T4 in Canada) and that is more than enough.
