How long did your LO use the nursery size? Should I just buy the bigger size from the start?
I am buying stuff for my niece!

He's 8 months and still using it and has room to grow - the non-animal critter ones are bigger though - I have a white one with gingham trim and it looks like it would fit him until toddler years. The critter one is a little smaller.

I never had the nursery size but I did buy the bigger size after my son outgrew his Carter's hooded towels (around 14 months or so?) and I personally wouldn't have been comfortable with an infant in that size towel. It just would have been too much for me to handle with such a little baby.

We used the smaller sized towel probably until 6 months...the bigger towel is HUGE but we like it...it's fluffier and more absorbent than the small one

We can still use it because LO is a peanut. I love hooded towels!

LO had the nursery towel (lion) and used it for only 4 months, he's only in the 20 percentile.
He was gifted the bigger one (penguin) for Xmas. I say get the bigger one.
