yay for pieces like the rocker or anywhere chair or towels (or stuff on sale/clearance)
nay for other pieces... can't justify the $$!

I love the anywhere chair. I'll definitely get one for future LO.

I'm a big fan. Their quality draws me in. DH talked me out of PBK sheets for LO's big girl room though...... his words "Do we really need expensive sheets that she is likely going to pee on?"
Fair point my dear. I concede on the sheets.

I love their sheets- for our crib. Since we didn't buy a "fancy" crib set, the sheets really pretty everything up. Also, they are the best fitting and easiest to put on/off from all the sheets we have. I never grab the target or babies r us sheets anymore.

I think the stuff is adorable, but I only have things that are gifted. I feel like its too expensive.

Yay for a lot of stuff, but only on sale for some of it! SO pricey, but definitely quality stuff! I really want the Anywhere Chair, Lamb Rocker, and a bunk bed (with the space underneath) for when Baby Shopaholic is old enough!

Nay, too expensive, and every time I order from them they mess something up. I ended up with 3 different backpacks without the correct picture or name embroidered before they got it right. Customer service was super nice, but they just kept messing up.

We have a PBK in our neighborhood. It's an adorable store. Love the pretend toys for girls and I gift them a lot. DD's backpack and lunchbox are from them... got them on sale and I think they'll hold up for years! Parents always compliment me on the set and ask me where I got it!

Yay - I really like their products. Can't wait to get the elephant rocker for Lady M!

I bought a rug there for DS's room. Crappiest rug ever. It's totally worn out and I've only had it 5 months. And it wasnt cheap!

Mostly nay due to the prices. I do plan on getting an anywhere chair for my LOs.

If you can get stuff on sale. Already planning on the anywhere chair for R's first bday.

Nay on most stuff. Can't justify the price.
I bought a different kids armchair that only cost me $60. I think even the anywhere chair is overpriced for what it is.

I love PBK. I buy very little to begin with, so I consider the stuff essentials!
I did LO's nursery in PBK bedding, now his big boy room is the blue madras plaid with the lobster sheets!
Furniture I am iffy on, I have two pieces from PB and the quality is good, but I like to see stuff in person.

@littlek: I LOVE the madras print and our babys room will be decorated in it!

As for the question, I just started our registry there. Yes for bedding, and no on curtains, rugs and what not. Too pricey. I feel bad asking people to pay $40 for a stroller blanket.

We have the anywhere chair, but that's about it. If I'm going to drop $$ somewhere, it'll usually be land of nod. It's just more my style and they have better sales.

Yay! I love it! LO's bedding is PBK, and so are her drapes (and bookends, and Easter basket . . . I digress.). I love gifting others (especially my nieces and nephews) with PBK . . . and if you can catch things on sale, it's not too bad.

@ladybee: I recently gifted someone a PBK stroller blanket for that exact reason . . . it was one of the few things on her PBK registry, and I thought if she didn't get it at her shower, she might not get it for herself.
grapefruit / 4079 posts
@MsLipGloss: maybe ill put it on there and see what happens. You're right, the point of gifting is to give something they wouldn't buy themselves. I do love PBKs so much!

Nay. Nothing I have ever seen there is worth the money when you can get the same thing for half the price elsewhere!

I have their bedding and a book rack that wasn't too much (on sale for $125, I think). However, it came without some necessary parts and it took a long time and several calls to get the right parts. They were really nice about it, but they totally dropped the ball and I was pretty irritated.

@MrsTiz: amen, sista.
Their stuff is cute but I can find high quality cute stuff elsewhere and not pay the price of PBK.

I plan on getting the anywhere chair and the rocking lamb, but in reality their prices are just a little too much for me to justify! I do LOVE their stuff though!

Nay. Too pricey for me to justify, and too traditional for my taste.

We live near an outlet - so yay! It doesn't always have the exact same selection as the regular store, but its pretty close!
GOLD / squash / 13464 posts
@MsLipGloss: @ladybee: A stroller blanket was the first thing purchased off my PBK registry!
Big YAY from me. Yes it's expensive, but it's very high quality and just my taste. LO has lots of blankets/sheets/towels from there. Our rocker is from there and we have a storage bench in her room from there. We love it all.
wonderful olive / 19353 posts
We're getting DS an Anywhere Chair because it's so cute, and lots of moms recommend them also. Otherwise, I say nay. It's a lil pricey for us unless we find something on super clearance or something.
honeydew / 7589 posts
Generally not my style. I do love the animal rockers, like the rocking lamb.

Yay for how cute everything is
Nay for how $$$ everything is
I wish there were PB outlets by me!!
