Not sure if anyone has posted, but the Peapod Travel bed has been recalled (about time).

@t-mom ack! that is scary. I just ordered this travel bed - http://www.amazon.com/Brica-Fold-Go-Travel-Bassinet/dp/B004L2JJ6E/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1353121906&sr=8-2&keywords=travel+baby+bed but it has a lot thinner mattress... I hope there are no similar concerns

We have this as well and I did read about one death occurring. I'm gLad they are recalling it. I'm curious what kind of repair kit they have come up with. Luckily I didn't start using it until my oldest was older. Maybe like 18+ months. I always thought it was warmer inside so I lways dressed him lighter when I used it. Now we have a Go Crib for my second to use instead of the pea pod plus. Thanks for the link!

@scg00387: hm yeah.. They definitely have similarities. I think the issue with the child who died is that their face got pressed against the side... Maybe the infant was not able to roll back over yet. You may just want to take a look when you get it and think about whether there may be a similar issue?
