Someone hit my car in my work parking lot once, knocked the bumper off until it was hanging on my tire (on the passenger side, so I didn't see it) and I didn;t know it until the entire tread of my tire flew off on the highway because the friction of the bumper.

There's a special place in hell.

My red car gets door dinged by white ones all the time and I get super annoyed, but that's nothing compared to your bumper situation!

People are assholes. My husband is a dilligent parker. He parks far away from other cars (drove me NUTS when I was pregnant and he would make me walk a mile to get into Walmart). But somehow he has been hit three different times by people who didn't leave their information. I repeat my first sentence.

I'm sorry.

That's so rude!! I was parked at the train station a couple months ago and someone sawed off my 2 catalytic converters and taking 2-O2 sensors with them also. It was a $5,000 repair. Needless to say, I was fuming for days!!! (>_<)

I was rear ended a few months ago and when we went to move our cars to the parking lot, instead of the middle of the street, he took off. I have now learned that whenever you are in an accident, immediately take a picture of their license plate before you do anything. The best part was that he had kids in the car. So that was a great lesson he taught them. Luckily there was little damage but I was pregnant and pissed!

@mrsjyw: It is okay. I wound up testifying later on and sent that dude to prison for 10 years. He was already on parole at the time, had drugs in his car, he had no license, the car didn't even belong to him, and...you know, he did a hit and run on a little girl. So the judge wasn't too happy with him.
