Alright hellobee, you have inspired me to have a holiday photo shoot with LO this weekend. Fingers crossed I get a holiday card worthy photo!
Plan is to run out and get some lights, maybe cheap ornaments and a santa hat? Location TBD - somewhere in our apartment, space is tight though!
I will be dusting off my DSLR that I haven't used in a few years, eek!!
Any last minute advice so I don't end up a pinterest fail?

I'm doing the same as you. We did a test run this morning. Without the hat or lights. Turn up the heat if you are doing any diaper shots. Good luck!

@Foodnerd81: Great tip! Yeah, I was thinking just diaper.
My LO is super mobile (as in he learned how to crawl last week!) so I'll probably have to take 5000 pictures just to get one good one 
Hopefully some lights or ornaments will keep his interest for 2 minutes.

@cmomma17: haha- my baby can't even roll yet so she stays put except when I put her too far forward on the boppy and she tries to somersault over it! My problem is the super serious face that comes out when she sees the camera!

@Foodnerd81: so funny you mention that! C makes different faces when he sees the camera (or phone too). Shooting without looking through the viewfinder is probably not recommended right? haha

@cmomma17: yes and no- I got some cute shots but I need a helper so one person can try and make her smile while the other snaps the photos. They were more test shots I guess. But the photographer I wanted to use can squeeze is in so we are getting family pictures after all!
