We took holiday pics last night of LO. We got a really great shot that we love. It's of her sitting on the dog but as you can imagine with two moving objects it was hard to get a crystal clear shot. It is fuzzier than I'd like. Even after using the sharpen tool in photoshop it's fuzzier than I'd like.
Any other tips to clean up the image?
Sorry, I don't have access to the file right now!

Aside from sharpening the image more (and making it grainier) there is nothing you can do. You can't make an out-of-focus picture more in-focus.
not sure what kind of camera you have, but if you have a dslr, the only way you'll get photos of moving objects is to jack your shutter speed way way up and compensate elsewhere on your settings.

I was taught to use Unsharp Mask instead of sharpening itself (in Photoshop). Use the defaults first and see how it goes.

@blackbird: Boo! That's what I'm afraid of. I got another shot that we really like and is crystal clear. But it's not as fun as the fuzzy one.

@locavore_mama: Filter > Sharpen > Unsharp Mask. Good luck! Search for tutorials too if you need help, there are tons out there.

Agree with blackbird re: shutter speed. Also though, practice nailing focus. Sometimes with fast moving kids, even with a quick shutter speed, you're just going to miss the focus. It is easier if you increase your aperture because you get more margin of error. But both increasing shutter speed and aperture are going to require more light, which is generally scarce indoors, so I'd recommend either getting a decent flash and/or just lots of practice + taking 1002 shots every time you pull your camera out because you're never going to get EVERY shot in focus with moving objects and more pics = more opportunity for awesomeness

When all else fails, you can make it black and white for a more artsy shot! That's what Wagon Jr. does with shots he loves but are too fuzzy to save.
