If your LO's birthday has fallen during the week, when did you have his/her birthday party? The weekend prior to their actual birthday or the weekend after?

We chose the weekend after. We've always done that.. we do out to eat on the day of, birthday kids choice, and then have their party the coming weekend.

I did after because I wanted him to be one at his party. But I guess in some Asian cultures you have to do it before, that's what @regberadaisy: told me!!!

We did the weekend after because the weekend before was a holiday.

We are actually doing 2 weekends after because of the availability of our venue.

I wanted to do it before, her birthday is on a Monday and I figured Sunday before is closest to her birthday. So if I had my way, it would be whatever is closest.
but my cousin is getting married that weekend, so we have to have it after.
