Anyone have a good recipe for pickled pearl onions? I like the sweet, tangy slightly sour ones!

I don't know about the pearl onion part, but I do love pickled red onion for tacos and pulled pork sandwiches and what not. I don't see why you can't sub the red onion for the pearl onions.
This is a good template recipe to use, although I've made it plenty of times with just a bay leaf and a few peppercorns and cloves - whatever I have laying around the house.

@gingerbebe: ooh I'll have to save it for DH because he loves pickled red onions! The flavors of the pickled pearl onions are more balsamic-y if that makes sense.
